Follow.it Review 2020 – We Like Feeds Now

We have had a chance to try out Follow.it for a few days now, and in our Follow.it Review we will see whether it’s something we want to try out in our very own website.

For details on what Follow.it is, we have a Follow.it Preview where we check what it does, if it’s well documented and updated and what the AppSumo deal is.

In short, Follow.it should allow your website visitors to easily and quickly subscribe via email, social and using varied tools to receive emails about your new posts. This way your visitors will be updated in the manner they choose (with more in the roadmap) and the experience should be a pleasant and positive one for the visitor, as well as automated for the website owner. We liked the idea enough to try it out ourselves, so here we are!

Check our YouTube video for details on the onboarding sequence so you can see how it all looks and if it matches what you’d expect.

On Board We go

For the onboarding sequence details, we go through it in our video.

Follow.it holds your hand and explains at each step what to do. While they do not have their own WordPress plugin, they explain how to add forms, icons and they also suggest a plugin that you can use to add your follow.it link, so it works very well even if you are not an advanced WordPress user.

We have our very own Follow page that we can share to allow somebody to join our feed, in addition to the form possibility. That is very useful if we want to use follow icons. The Follow page can be customized to a certain extent and looks very neat. Take a look at our own Follow.it Page ???? if you want to see how it looks.

Once we have added our feed, we can customize the text, emails we send, default settings and all of that.

After we have added our form, follow icon and customized our settings, that’s it. We’re done, we do not have to worry about prompt and nice looking notifications about our new posts.

If we have a list, we can import it. We can also export subscribers if we want to add it to another software. The process is a bit manual here for the time being, so this is far from optimal. Still, it’s not too bad.

Follow.it Review Conclusion

We do like Follow.it and you can still see it on MasterStack itself. While we are eagerly waiting for more communication channels, we hope to see them come out of the roadmap and be live soon. Even so, the tool is already working well and the possibilities as well as the good looking automated result makes it a good buy for websites with a lot of content creation, news and information.

We will check back in a couple of months and consider it again, but for now this is a good one for us.
