Don’t let the AppSumo Last Call deal take all your focus: three new deals appeared this week: ActiveCollab, The Ultimate Guide to Buying and Selling Online Businesses and Filmstro.
… Well, that would be it, would it? We’ve got a really quick surprise from Stackby, so there’s that, too.
Let’s get started and see what these three deals are all about.
ActiveCollab
ActiveCollab is a project management tool with many features that should help you and your team create a great workflow. The tool is made to encourage collaboration, ease of use, simplicity and time-saving features that will enable you to get more done in less time.
Looking at the website and AppSumo deal, ActiveCollab has all the functionality needed for project management:
- Gantt charts
- Task lists
- File sharing
- Client Access
- integration tools like Zapier support, API and webhooks
- Time Tracking with Estimates and Reports
- Invoices, Project budget & Expense Tracking (extra module)
- Integrations with Payment Gateways (extra)
- Desktop and Mobile Apps
Going through the website and documentation, there is a ton of information and the product seems stable and solid.
The AppSumo deal itself is quite good. All of the Plus Plan features + extras, with 3, 15 and 30 users depending on the tier.
Now, not all the ActiveCollab features are present, but even so, this looks like a solid deal.

The Ultimate Guide to Buying & Selling Businesses
Don’t have much to tell on this one! It’s going to be free for 16 more days or so, so just grab the freebie and enjoy the ebook. I do not doubt that it has some interesting ideas, so I’m just going to get my copy now.
Filmstro
With Filmstro we can easily create custom soundtracks through an extensive library and some editing tools that allow us to make it just right for what we need.
Their website is slick with a lot of information, tons of blog posts dating way before the AppSumo deal, so it all gives a very solid vibe.
Other than their own Filmstro App, you can use Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro plugins to use Filmstro’s features right in those apps, which is a cool.
Reviews are good enough, and with 2 stacks we have commercial rights to distribute the audio along with our videos pretty much anywhere. That’s pretty great. With two stacks we get the equivalent of the Pro Plus Plan, which runs at $74.99 on Filmstro’s website.
Now, I am VERY interested in Filmstro myself, even though I do not make many videos, but when I do I always have a difficult time finding good audio I can use. There we go, problem solved.

Stackby
I’ve seen Stackby in the past in AppSumo and overtime I’ve seen its features grow and as a platform it has really improved. You can think about a really smart Excel spreadsheet when you think Stackby, but that would not be enough to really explain what it does.
Stackby uses databases as a sort of excel spreadsheet and integrates with a ton of apps, so that we can create our own databases to use as a project management, social media planner, or perhaps we want to import YouTube videos stats. We could easily do all these things, with reminders, team members and uploads, and more.
Their webinar is telling of the many things we can do and how we can fetch further information via the integrations.
It definitely looks interesting to me, and very tempting!

In Conclusion
that’s it for this week! The Last Call is now over, but these deals are still here. Stackby won’t be here for long, so it’s going to require some quick thinking!
