The AppSumo Deals recap for this week is here! There are some great tools here, 6 deals and one Freebier from the AppSumo select.
As usual, we’ll go through them and I’ll share my first brief opinion.
Depositphotos
A great place to find stock photos, their library contains over 150 million professional quality images and videos with new additions every week!
We don’t get a lifetime deal here, it’s more of credits that have no expiration date.
That being said, it’s a great deal. The quality of the pictures is high and at $39 per stack for 100 photos/vectors, that makes it so each one is worth 39 cents.
If quality had a price, it would certainly be higher than that.
Hype: Interesting
Subhub
Subhub was available throughout 2020 as well, and it’s back with a slightly different stacking deal. It’s a membership website platform that allows you to create and monetize membership websites.
According to 2020’s requests, it seems many were delivered, so the product has grown.
For branding removal and unlimited members you’d want 3 stacks, otherwise all stacking does is increase GB storage space.
Reviews are fairly positive, so while I am not within the use case, it does look like a solid product.
Hype: Uhm
Treasure
It’s not just a cloud storage, but it’s also a way to aggregate multiple cloud storages. That way you don’t need to log into all your cloud storages. All you do is log into Treasure, and there you have everything in your cloud accounts.
Well not everything everything, they don’t have all of the storage providers yet, but they are working on it.
Stacking increases storage, going from $49 for 1 TB to $147 for 5 TB. As far as space goes, that’s impressive.
There’s currently a file size limit, but they’re looking at increasing it.
As for security, they seem to do that pretty well, with end to end encryption and zero-knowledge encryption: Not even Treasure employees can see your data (this is an opt-in feature).
One of the best features is that you can share folders with friends and family, and there are apps for most devices across the board.
They have a changelog and roadmap, so it seems very promising, while young: their windows app has just released as a beta, and MacOS App and iCloud integration are scheduled for the 3rd Quarter of 2021.
So yes, it’s promising and there’s work to be done, but it does seem like things are progressing.
Hype: Interesting
Moovly
Video editing can sometimes be a real headache: professional software is very complex, and we sometimes want something really quick and easy, not frame-by-frame editing of a movie.
That being said, there are editors for just this: Moovly is one of them. With Moovly you can create professional-looking animated videos within minutes.
Moovly is a great option for brands that want to communicate their messages via video, but don’t have the time or budget for it – you can create an animation in less than ten minutes!
The app’s interface is very intuitive and easy to use: many templates are already available as well as all the tools you’ll need for your project (texts, backgrounds, sound effects). Plus, Moovly has tons of tutorial videos on its website so if something doesn’t click right away there will always be someone who can help you figure out how to make it work.
All of this can also be done at the same time with others, as editing is online and shared. Media can be uploaded, stock media is present, and there is also integrated text-to-speech.
As for stacking, up to 5 stacks for an increasing amount of users, more downloads and exports per month per user (up to 100), 25 automator credits (that’s creating videos automatically via API. One off credits, they do not reset every month); Tier1’s license stops here, Tier 2 onwards get Sub-accounts, Color removal, Custom fonts and Colors, subtitles, Transcribe audio to subtitles, Google Translate Integration, screen and webcam recording and Text-to-Speech.
Reviews seem good so far, and the tool seems capable and interesting, so definitely one to watch out. Tier 2 or more is suggested, for the huge bump in features.

My Brand New Logo
I’ve personally used My Brand New Logo in the past a few times to create logos and I’ve always liked both how easy it is to use and also how much you can edit to make the end result really meet your needs and vision.
Stacks here only allow further one-time credits: Up to Tier 3, for respectively 250 logos, 500 logos or 1000 logos: a credit is spent only once you’re happy with the result and you choose to download a logo pack, so no credits are wasted.
Not much more to say, solid tool, been around for a while, works great, so highly recommended!
Hype: Interesting
ContentBot
GPT-3 Tool that helps you writing better content, more content and has many templates, plus a WordPress Plugin.
It was in the marketplace for a few days with 2 stacks for unlimited credits.
Now it’s on AppSumo select with up to 3 stacks for unlimited credits, but only maximum 25 blog post credits per month: that is the new long-form content.
To be honest, I am not thrilled, as the previous deal was much better. As for the tool itself, it does have good reviews and people seem generally happy with it.
I cannot compare it with the other GPT-3 tools myself, so I am not sure if ContentBot is better.
It does however have many templates, long-form and a WordPress plugin, so it’s probably a good contender within the GPT-3 field.

I don’t know, it’s a freebie, go for it! Free learning is (almost) never bad
That’s the Week!
Plenty of new tools, many interesting ones from my point of view as well, and I’ll be looking out to try some and see how they keep developing. Did you get any of these tools? What are your thoughts?
