I haven’t been posting much here lately, but this last call has been massive! and I’ve been busy playing with BotStar 😉
Anyway! Some of the tools in this AppSumo Last call that’s been going on we have already reviewed, some we are interested in. Some don’t fall in our niche but seem very solid! Let’s recap them quickly.
Before we do so, remember, you need AppSumo Plus or Briefcase in order to enjoy this Last Call event!
These 10 deals are extremely good within their niches so while some things are not for everyone, if your use-case is covered, they’re all solid.
Nimbus Note
We have tried it. It’s part of the new breed of note taking tools and Nimbus Note is most likely one of the best among them. If you’re in the market for a note taking tool with collaboration capabilities, sync and tons more, look no further, this is it.
Their support has been extra available over the past months since the AppSumo deal, with lots of updates and fixes. It’s not perfect, but there’s a lot going for Nimbus Note.
Deskera
A big name in CRM and Accounting, it’s a very solid tool for any business. Their ongoing work for compliance in many countries ensure smooth operations, and they are a heavy contender in the Accounting space. Extremely well regarded and a very easy recommendation! It has a ton of AppSumo reviews and people are very pleased with it. It is not something we have tried ourselves as we have different needs, but it was in serious consideration nonetheless!
Alugha
Not everyone has a need to translate and sub their videos in multiple languages, but.. if you do, Alugha is here to make your workflow faster, more efficient and all around less frustrating. You can manage your translations and subs all within Alugha. While it’s certainly a niche, it has received very good reviews from people that have use for it!
Zoom.ai
We’ve had our eyes on Zoom.Ai for a while and I’ve seen it used in multiple occasions: A clear contender to Calendly, there are tons of integrations available and scheduling meetings with clients, leads and anyone else is very easy with Zoom.Ai. You can easily add your calendar, integrate with Teams, Hangouts and Zoom, add your Teams chat to check your schedule and decide where and how meetings can be scheduled. Very solid all around. We’re looking to integrate it in our workflows.
BigVu
A teleprompter, collaborative video editor with captions and music all in one app. Sounds great if you’re doing videos, right? Well, that’s BigVu. Video creation is faster, better and more efficient with this. We like what we’ve seen and while it’s not something we have much use for, we do like the direction it is going.
Eventee
Full disclosure: This is completely outside what I usually do, so I have not looked too much into Eventee. It seems generally well received and people like it, but I cannot comment for competitors, how good it is and so on. I figure it has a good amount of positive reviews so people are generally happy with it.
Agiled
A tool for every part of your business, integrated with tons of other tools. Sounds fantastic, right? Well, that’s what Agiled is going for. We have an agiled preview ourselves and we have tried it. We like the tool and there have been many updates in the past few months. Features are there and the integrations too. The interface is not perfect, but it’s also difficult to put all of those features (Project Management, CRM with client portals, HR, Billing, Proposals, Invoices, Forms, and more) and keep a neat UI.
Anyway! Agiled sets out to do a lot and it does so, it’s not perfect, but it is a very strong tool.
Spott
We’ve liked Spott since the beginning and we have a spott preview and spott review for you to check out. Spott does something unique: It allows you to create interactive videos and images, adding product links, CTA and tons more, with assets and feeds so you have your whole catalog at your disposal if you so wish. It’s easy to use and the end result is heavily customizable via templates and CSS, so you get amazing interactive images and videos. We like spott a lot and we use it, so we recommend it.
Remaster Media
It’s not easy to sound or look like a professional without professional equipment. Remaster Media helps out a bit and improves our overall output quality for audio and video. Results are impressive and people seem generally happy with it. We’re also trying it out. I do not have the knowledge to recommend it, but we think it’s working out so far. Check out their website for more information, too!
PixTeller
We have a PixTeller preview and a PixTeller review, so you can check out those for more information; in general, we’ve been pretty happy with the tool and the video timeline is its feature we like the most. Over the past few months it has seen some updates and we have seen fixes and good interaction, so it’s still something to consider when choosing your tools for media creation and editing.
As with most AppSumo Last Calls, the tools are impressive and among the best in their niches, so they’re all usually recommended if your use cases is within their niche.
