Every now and then, AppSumo has Flash Deals called Last Calls for their Plus members, with some of the old deals coming back for just a few days.

Needless to say, it’s one of those occasions you can grab more stacks of something you’ve liked but couldn’t stack at the time, or to get something that got away or that wasn’t needed back when it was first available.

Alas, it’s a great time!

Those deals are only available to AppSumo Plus members (and Briefcase by extension), so in order to get them, you need to become a proud Plus/Briefcase member.

We will quickly recap what AppSumo Plus and Briefcase are, but for more information we’ve talked about them in more detail.

That Sumo-ling VIP status

It’s a comprehensive tool to run your own podcasts. It’s mainly built for paid podcasts and allows to handle payment and subscriptions all within the tool, but you can also do free podcasts.

We currently do not have a podcast ourselves but we’ve thoroughly checked it over the months, ever since it was available, and we believe it is a solid platform and it can be the right purchase for a podcast, with a ton of features, good reviews and clear interface.

WP Reset

What? WordPress plugin to quickly handle snapshots, resets and website recoveries.

Pricing: 49$+, if you get 5 stacks you get unlimited websites. More stacks to increase the websites allowed in their cloud service.

I admittedly did not consider WP Reset that much initially, although I’ve known of its existence for a long time. After taking a look at it, though, I’ve immediately stacked 5 of them, applied it to my websites and I can easily recommend it if you manage WordPress installations.

• You get an easy way to install plugins when you spin up a new WordPress and you quickly want your initial stack
• You get automatic instant and manual snapshots that are much faster than backups for when you do some changes, making it very quick to just turn back
• You can do additional resets and maintenances with ease
• You get an emergency way to recover your website if something horrible happens

We love it, and if you use WordPress yourself, you will love it too.

NiftyPM

What? Project Management with Conversations

Pricing: 49$+, changes team members and storage space allowed (+3 members each stack)

Great Project Management Platform. Plenty of features are already available and more are being heavily developed; what’s here is already very good, as it allows to manage conversation and projects within just this one platform, making it less scattered. Interface is well developed and the whole platform is very easy to use but also flexible enough to adapt to one’s needs.

Great Project Management Tool in its own right, regardless of any deals!

SuiteDash

What?

Pricing: 79$+ (+3 members + 100 GB per stack)

Great and slick platform to handle clients, from giving them their own portal or access to any area you choose, to handling invoices and tasks both with your team and with the client.

SuiteDash offers a mixture of CRM, Task Management, Client Portal along with Email Marketing all in one tool. Some of those areas are worked on, or with a bit less features than more vertical tools, but the sheer breadth of what’s there makes up for it, so you can handle most of your agency business from there (it’s quite clearly built for agencies, mainly, though it can work for other businesses as well)

MailPoet

What? WordPress plugin to create and manage Newsletters right from your website’s WordPress dashboard

Pricing: 49$+ (+5000 subscribers per website per stack)

Known WordPress Plugin to handle Newsletters right from your dashboard, MailPoet is installed on hundreds of thousands WordPress sites and has made a name for itself. We have a MailPoet Preview for further detail.

The deal is appealing because its subscriber limit is per website, with unlimited websites allowed, and it covers MailPoet’s own sending protocols, without having to use SMTP services like Amazon SES, MailGun, Sendgrid, etc (though you can use them instead if you wish to, MailPoet’s plugin allows to choose your provider).

If you check Reviews/Comments some people have had issues with some suspensions, but e-mails are a delicate affair and some people don’t even realize they’re producing spam.

As a whole, this seems like a great and competent plugin and service if you use WordPress, at a great price.

(Less so if you have an eCommerce, their WordPress transactional emails leave something to be desired, and for WordPress marketing there are better, although much pricier, tools)

If-So

What? WordPress plugin to adapt your webpage to various conditions and triggers.

Pricing 49$+ (+sites +geolocation/session)

Another WordPress plugin, this one allows you to show a different block depending on various conditions such as geolocation or if it’s the first visit.

Ultimately, you can give your website a dynamic feeling and tailor the user’s experience more closely.

According to their website it is compatible with page builders such as Elementor, and the reviews and ratings speak of a good product.

Social Animal

What? Search for the most talked topics, look over the internet and through influencers to find content ideas

Pricing 69$+ (+Alerts, URLs, Monthly Exports and Credits)

A tool that’s been compared to BuzzSumo in what it does, it’s tailored to agencies and content creators: You can scrape the web, both websites and social networks to check what’s being talked about, to find out influencers about any niche you want to research and this gives you a very detailed idea of what it is you could talk about, to be right there, where the user interaction and crowd is.

We have not tried Social Animal yet so we cannot give our take on it, but from our research it seems very useful and works well, so we’ll probably be picking this up ourselves, too.

Overall, if any of those products have features you can use, they all seem solid choices and it’s all about your use case and needs.
