Beacon Preview

So many things to look at, so little time! As I was strolling through the deals, I came by this awesome looking piece of web software called Beacon, and I had to take a further look into it, so here’s our Beacon Preview.

What’s the Deal

Where to find it: Beacon.by AppSumo Deal | Beacon Website

What is it? A tool to make ebook Lead Magnets with extra features such as multiple blog post import, smart PDFs and so on

Who is it for? Marketers, social media marketers and anyone willing to make great looking freebies for their audience

What do we get? Unlimited lead magnets with 1 code, 2 gets us custom domains for smart pdfs and additional users

Looking through Beacon

Actually, before we look into Beacon, let’s look at why we’d need it.

In order to build a userbase around what we do and share on the internet, be it a website or a service, we all like preparing useful and bright content to share, don’t we?

However, sometimes it becomes a bit too intense to prepare the right graphic or the right ebook, and while we wear many hats, we may not exactly be design experts, which results in either poor looking content, or endless hours used up to get our content ready and out.

This kind of content we share with our user base or prospect should not take too long to complete, while also looking good, right? That’d be how it works: you prepare good content, quickly get it formatted as an ebook, and you share it.

In my experience that is not always the case, and what Beacon looks to solve is exactly the “getting it formatted and beautiful” part.

Going through their website it seems they allow for a drag ‘n’ drop templating with many pre-made templates to start with, you can either paste or import blog posts and then work on fixing things, with automatic Table of Content and all that.

That can be paired with extra features such as Smart PDFs and custom domains, newsletter forms, etc. which can be more situational but just as powerful additions.

Beacon Pricing

Beacon’s standard pricing starts for 49$ per month and goes up to 99$ for team accounts and custom domains. One stack basically gets us the 49$ plan on a lifetime basis, whereas the double stack gets us the 99$ plan and a few users along with it. Pricing wise it’s a no-brainer.

The deal itself seems very good, as it allows for unlimited features right off the bat, and if you want custom domains you can just double stack and get additional users on top.

Now, one stack seems more than enough unless you want to get fancy, and it’s good there are no other limits.
